Social action has been at the heart of CFOB's mission. In September 2015, MP's, donors and delegates split into teams with particular focus on of three topics; health education and sport.

The groups, led by the MP's visited schools, hospitals health centres and sports centres for some of the poorest people in Bangladesh.

The UK is the biggest bilateral donor to the country, BRAC, an international development organisation with focus on Bangladesh and with offices in the UK, receives almost half of its money from the Department for International Development (DfID). Many of the projects CFoB visited were run by BRAC, so witnessing the good work they do on the ground was an important aspect of the trip.

To find out more about this project send us an email to [email protected] and we will send you the Project Shapla 2015 brochure
