Abdus Hamid - Deputy Chairman

Abdus Hamid is the Deputy Chairman of Conservatives Friends of Bangladesh (CFoB). Abdus has a distinguished career in the private sector, and currently works as a Network Security Consultant for a large firm of wealth managers in the City of London. He has been working in the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) industry for over twenty years.

Abdus also has had a varied career in politics having previously served as the Chairman of Ilford South Conservative association. He was also a Board Member for Muslims for Britain, passionate about politics; he has been involved with the Conservative Party for over 10 years. 

Outside the world of politics, he serves as a trustee for numerous charities in London, one of which is London Tigers; a national organisation providing people from disadvantaged backgrounds with a pathway to fulfil their potential through sports and innovation. 

Abdus continues to take an interest in young people and sports development through the Conservative Friends of Bangladesh Social Action Project.
