Boris at Café Corvino
The countdown has started to CFOB welcoming Boris Johnson, the official Conservative Mayoral Candidate for London to Muquim Ahmed’s Café Corvino in London ’s East End.
The evening promises to be a great opportunity to meet Boris as he mingles with the guests and is introduced and accompanied by Joanne Cash PPC Westminster North. Anne Main MP, Chairman of CFOB will be in attendance the entire evening and other Members of Parliament and committee members: Dominic Grieve MP, Rob Wilson MP and Brian Binley MP hope to make an appearance. The evening will be hosted by Cllr. Salim Miah Chowdhury from Harrow and Teresa Rosell, deputy chairman of CFOB and past Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Beaconsfield . There will be a raffle and auction with proceeds going to the Cyclone Relief Fund and we hope to have Kevin Hollinrake PPC Dewsbury and Tim Archer PPC Poplar and Limehouse. Also joining in on the evening will be three of the Conservative Party’s Parliamentary Candidates from the Priority List: Dr. Phillip Lee (also CFOB Project Director), Dr. Michelle Tempest and Hasan Ali (CFOB Secretary).

Fundraising Event - June 2007
Beaconsfield Conservatives held a fundraising event this summer and Sir John Major was the guest of honour. Members of Conservative Friends of Bangladesh were present at the event and met with Sir John.
